The reproductive medicine unit offers a comprehensive range of investigations and treatments for couples presenting with fertility problems, recurrent miscarriage and reproductive endocrinology. Our vision is to provide high quality consultant led care in a caring multi-disciplinary environment. We aim to provide a high quality care that places our patients and couples at the centre of their management. Our approach is to promote a culture of evidence based practice and we support and encourage research and education. We take pride in our multidisciplinary team approach and see every single member of the team as essential to the team function.

We accept referrals for the investigation and treatment of fertility problems, and medical fertility preservation. We offer a wide range of services for male and female patients that include endocrine and surgical treatments as well as the following assisted reproductive treatments:
- Ovulation induction
- Partner and donor sperm intrauterine insemination (IUI)
- Sperm freezing
- IVF and ICSI
- Egg and embryo freezing
IVF, ICSI and egg and embryo freezing are services we offer in collaboration with the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH). Some aspects of these treatments will take place in CRGH.

It’s important to note that if you (or your partner) are in the UK and subject to immigration control (defined as currently holding a valid visa to enter or to remain in the UK and without indefinite leave to remain), you are not eligible for free of charge Assisted Conception Service (ACS) on the NHS.
Any ACS for the purpose of assisting a person to carry a child (including all consultations, hospital encounters, diagnoses and treatments) will be charged. If you are unsure if you are eligible or if you wish to discuss this further, please contact the UCLH Overseas and Eligibility Team who can confirm a patient’s eligibility and costs.
